Race information
This is a long-distance running with the longest history in Thailand, founded by foreign runners across the world e.g. Europe, America as results of impressive natural resources and challenging paths. River Kwai International Half Marathon was first launched in 1982, so it could be counted as “The first half marathon in Thailand”. At first, most runners were foreigners whose number combined with that of Thai runners was not more than 100. The event was annually set up continuously and finally has been operated by Amazing Field. River kwai village hotel has always been the event venue and become more popular among Thai and foreign runners. The running event is certified by AIMS or Association of International Marathons and Distance Races that the running paths meet the international standard. In 2023, Redcap Organizer authorized by Amazing Field will solely run the 39th running event.

RACE RULES
RACE RULES
- All awarded runners shall be those who register in the competition system correctly and are verified by the committee.
- The committee’s decision shall be deemed final. All awarded runners shall present the identity authentication.
- The Overall award shall be judged with Gun Time.
- The Age Group award shall be judged with Gun Time.
- Those who receive the Overall award cannot be awarded in Age Group.
- All runners shall run through all checkpoints throughout the path. In case any checkpoint is not reached, the result shall be DNF.
- DNF (Do not finish) is when runners fail to complete the path or fail to reach the finish line on time. They will be eliminated from the competition.
- Gun Time is the official competition time on which everyone starts.
- Chip Time is an individual time from the start to the finish line.
- The Cut-off is that runners shall reach the finish line of each competition in the time specified by the host.
- Any runner who does not reach the finish line in time will not be awarded.

- Online registration will close on 31 July 2023 (23:59 h, GMT+7).
- Please note that the above rates exclude 8.7% handling fee.
- Entry is non-refundable.
- Entry is non-transferable to another competitor.
- Entry is non-transferable to next year’s competition.
